mediator certified through MTI and The State of Texas, Harris County
DRC.
Steve is a certified mediator of
Workplace Conflict. Steve is also as a Certified Trainer for DMI/MTI
in the Manager-as- Mediator Seminar and the Self-As-Mediator for the
workplace training of managers and supervisors. Steve also serves as
CEO of Samtarel International Transport Agencies, Houston, Texas.
Steve has been actively facilitating
international maritime and commodity contract agreements for clients
in the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, Latin and South America
for 30 years. Understanding and appreciation of peoples, their
cultures and the cultures of corporations have made Stephen J.
Stapleton III an outstanding member of the United States’ and the
international business community.
In addition Steve is also a certified
arbitrator and a member of the Houston Maritime Arbitrators
Association and a founding member of the Connecticut Maritime
Association. Steve teaches negotiations for the Greater Houston Port
Bureau and is a member of U. S. Gulf International Commerce

John Britton has more than thirty years' experience
in the maritime industry. He has held managerial positions both in
the United States and abroad. As a manager, John has over
twenty-five years experience in planning, budgeting, and managing
development and support activities. John understands the challenges
of large organization personnel management and the impact conflict
can have on the efficiency of an organization.
John has been closely involved with managing the
interface between the private and public sectors. John also brings
extensive international management experience in Europe, North
America, Central America and South America, tying together academic
theory with real-world experience. John focuses on helping his
clients develop a vision, build effective leadership teams, address
change issues and improve communication processes.
John's career includes management assignments with
leading international trading houses, ship operating companies, ship
and cargo brokerages and agency.
